**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated maintenance professional to join our team.

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of plant and process equipment.

**Responsibilities:**

- Proactively identify and coordinate preventative maintenance across the site.
- Complete planned maintenance tasks to ensure breakdowns are prioritized to meet production needs.
- Provide technical support and training to machine operators for basic troubleshooting.
- Provide detailed accounts of all work performed and logged in our CMMS.
- Support continuous improvement and project implementation.
- Investigate plant or equipment deficiencies that lead to out-of-spec finished goods.
- Assist with ensuring industry standards are met.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude coupled with a great work ethic.
- Strong fault finding and RCA skills with a proven focus on right first time.
- Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams and interpret machinery manuals.
- Effective communication skills in speaking with cross functional teams and writing work order reports.

**Requirements:**

- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter with experience in the FMCG industry.
- Ability to weld and do minor TIG fabrication work.
- Fault finding/diagnostic skills in pneumatic and control circuits.
- Sound knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
- Repair, change and improve machinery while ensuring principles of HACCP and GMP are not compromised.
- Strong electrical aptitude is an advantage.
- Welding, turning, sheet metal fabrication qualifications and skills are highly regarded.
