Maintenance Management Role

About the Position

Organizations in various industries are seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance activities and drive equipment effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in plant or facilities maintenance and possess strong organizational skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute planned and unplanned maintenance activities, including inspections of critical equipment and execution of engineering improvement plans to enhance plant performance.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the facility and corporate/engineering teams to ensure alignment on maintenance initiatives.
  • Develop strategies and programs to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), plant reliability, and long-term asset performance.
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring timely execution of tasks, optimization of spare parts inventory, and continuous reliability improvements.
  • Establish and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and critical equipment inspection programs to ensure operational integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Track and manage maintenance key performance indicators (KPIs) while driving cost efficiency.
  • Prepare capital investment proposals, including design recommendations, cost justification, and overseeing implementation lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in plant or facilities maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Familiarity with production environments focusing on safety, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Solid understanding of equipment reliability, maintenance systems, and safety standards.
  • Experience managing contractors and maintenance teams.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude with ability to use initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
