  • Role Overview:

As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery by developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs. Your strong mechanical aptitude, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and external contractors to achieve our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

">

  • Develop and maintain a functional preventive maintenance program/schedule by utilizing industry standards

  • Develop and maintain required parts lists per each piece of equipment/machinery

  • Coordinate/streamline installation and/or repairs of equipment

  • Develop and maintain a task code library, adding new tasks as needed

  • Performs random checks of PM for equipment handled by external contractors to ensure reliability and quality of work

  • Maintains records of planned and completed maintenance

  • Develop and coordinate plans for reconstruction or installation of new equipment and/or machinery

  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications or working towards tertiary qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role

  • Good mechanical aptitude

  • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude

  • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent computer skills / administrative skills
