About the Role

As an Employment Coach with SYC, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to achieve their career goals. With over 50 locations across Australia, we offer a supportive and dynamic environment that fosters personal growth and development.

This challenging yet rewarding role requires a passionate individual who is dedicated to making a positive impact on people's lives. You will work collaboratively with clients to identify their strengths, interests, and values, and develop tailored action plans to help them overcome career challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting one-to-one coaching sessions to assess career needs and create personalised plans.
  • Assessing client strengths, interests, and values to guide employment goals.
  • Collaborating with community organisations to create opportunities for clients.
  • Developing effective job search strategies, including resume writing and interview preparation.
  • Referring clients through training, counselling, and other services to increase long-term employment outcomes.
About You

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional who enjoys working autonomously within a team environment. The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in customer service, client-facing, or administration roles.
  • Strong time management, organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines and KPI targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written, and the ability to conduct client assessments and develop case plans.
  • Interpersonal conflict resolution and negotiation skills, along with the ability to identify innovative solutions to problems.
  • Ability to develop relationships with employers and relevant stakeholders.
