About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Employment Coach to join our team in Mount Gambier. As an Employment Coach, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their employment goals by providing one-to-one coaching sessions, career assessments, and creating personalized action plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality coaching services to participants, assessing their career needs and developing tailored plans to help them reach their goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive career assessments and identify clients' strengths, interests, and values to inform their employment objectives.
  • Collaborate with community organizations to create opportunities for participants and leverage sales strategies to drive results.
  • Assist participants in developing effective job search strategies, including resume writing and interview preparation.
  • Refer participants to relevant training, counseling, and other services to enhance long-term employment outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance requirements and ensure adherence to established protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in customer service, client-facing, or administrative roles, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop client assessments, case plans, and reports.
  • Interpersonal conflict resolution and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify innovative solutions to problems.
  • Ability to build relationships with employers and stakeholders, driving engagement and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in computer software and systems.
