Job Summary

As a GIS Analyst in our Energy and Resources Division, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of GIS Data deliverables on our CSG gathering projects.

You will be an energetic team player who can add value to our team of specialized GIS Analysts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Development and creation of GIS detailed design deliverables to meet technical specifications and guidelines
  • Facilitating GIS requirements for Safety Management and Design review meetings
  • Creation and management of project attribute database
  • GIS support to the Engineering, Civil, I&E, Survey, and Environmental teams
  • Environmental and Design Constraints assessments
  • Create, document, and manage GIS systems and procedures for a variety of projects
  • Communication with the Engineering team and clients
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Geographic Information Systems or similar tertiary qualification is preferable
  • Experience with MapInfo Professional (or willingness to learn)
  • Experience with Esri's ArcGIS Desktop applications, especially ArcMap, with ArcGIS Pro advantageous
  • Skills in automation using ModelBuilder, ArcPy, and Python advantageous
  • Minimum of 1 year GIS industry experience preferred
  • Experience in pipelines and CSG gathering systems will be advantageous
  • Strong commitment to client satisfaction
  • A high commitment to workplace health and safety and the use of safe work systems
