Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and project-based technical assistance for projects in start-up and steady-state phases.
  • Manage a diverse range of spatial data in enterprise database systems.
  • Generate professional-looking maps that convey key messages and reflect positively on our company.
  • Maintain web GIS applications used on projects worldwide.
  • Create mobile GIS tools for data capture and field navigation.

About You

You will have completed a tertiary qualification in Spatial Sciences, ICT, or a related discipline, or have gained relevant experience in the GIS industry. You will have experience managing spatial data in an enterprise environment and generating professional-looking maps and figures.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable ability to liaise with non-GIS colleagues and convey how spatial data and applications can assist them with their work.
  • Familiarity with spatial data themes (imagery, LiDAR, infrastructure, environmental, geotechnical, geology, health and safety, and mining) and how they can be utilized in a GIS environment for functional display and decision-making.
  • Proven experience using ESRI Desktop mapping tools (ArcPro and ArcMap).
  • Experience with ESRI web GIS applications, including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Image Server, ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal, and ArcGIS Online.
  • Desirable experience with Survey123 and ESRI Field Maps.
  • An easy-going manner that can work with personnel at all levels of the business.
