Overview:

We operate premium health clubs in multiple locations across Australia, catering to over 270,000 members. Our members enjoy access to industry-leading gym facilities, innovative group fitness classes and bespoke personal training solutions.

As a Group Fitness Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of Group Fitness instructors, promoting group fitness opportunities and initiatives to our members, increasing member engagement and enhancing membership value.

This role is ideal for a passionate Group Fitness professional with at least 2 years of Group Fitness experience and management experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Recruiting and managing a team of Group Fitness Instructors who share your passion for fitness.
  2. Managing the scheduling of up to 100 Group Fitness classes weekly.
  3. Coaching and motivating new Group Fitness Instructors to become part of the team.
  4. Creating a positive work environment where team members thrive.
  5. Developing and delivering engaging group exercises that meet the needs of our members.
  6. Continuously improving the quality of Group Exercises by running energetic, focused and professional sessions.
  7. Managing budgets related to Group Fitness and preparing relevant reports.
  8. Serving as a role model, motivator and ambassador for our brand.
  9. Providing an exceptional experience at every touch point - from acquisition to visitation.
  10. Ensuring compliance with Work Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A passion for Group Fitness and significant experience as a Group Fitness Instructor, preferably Les Mills or studio style.
  • Previous managerial experience in a health club or gym and a passion for developing people to reach their full potential.
  • Registration with Fitness Australia.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Certification in Group Exercise Instruction (Cert III).
