About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional with 3+ years of experience in AV system design and project engineering. Your responsibilities will include designing and drafting technical drawings, creating cable schedules, and ensuring that all systems meet user requirements.

  • Design comprehensive AV plans, including line diagrams, bill of materials, scope of work, and rack elevations, using industry-standard notation.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to review scope of work and sales orders.
  • Assist sales in preparing preliminary scope of work, estimated installation hours, and equipment lists.
  • Develop detailed cable schedules according to customer needs.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in designing complex AV solutions, preferably with a leading systems integrator.
  • Certified Technology Specialist certification or equivalent.
  • Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical knowledge of 3 or more of the following: audiovisual equipment, videoconferencing endpoints, network equipment, network services, hardware, software, and managed services offerings.
