Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Community and Engagement Specialist to play a key role in delivering our internal and external engagement strategy.

This is a full-time position based in Sydney with hybrid working options. The successful candidate will contribute to, execute, and evaluate communication and engagement initiatives while also supporting event management, project coordination, and administrative activities.

  • Develop and manage content across multiple formats, including social media posts, web copy, blogs, reports, brochures, factsheets, eDMs, and promotional materials.
  • Organise and execute engagement and communications campaigns within project regions.
  • Source quotes and coordinate the delivery of printed and promotional materials.
  • Manage and moderate digital platforms.
  • Track, measure, and analyse the effectiveness of engagement activities using media and analytics tools.
  • Assist in planning and delivering community and stakeholder engagement events.

Your Experience

  • A strong background in stakeholder/community engagement and communications.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools such as design software and website platforms.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with strong editing, proofreading, and formatting abilities.
  • The ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging content.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Experience in event planning and coordination, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, work flexibly, and contribute effectively within a team.
