About the Role

The Cyber Security Remediation Expert will protect and secure sensitive data by detecting, disrupting, remediating and mitigating cyber security risks. This critical role requires an individual who can analyze complex security threats and develop effective strategies to mitigate them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze findings from security monitoring systems to determine patching and remediation strategies.
  • Support incident requests regarding vulnerability remediation, patching/remediation status, and metrics.
  • Review vulnerabilities for active and acceptable remediation plans, and verify implementation according to business requirements.
  • Identify potential gaps that may result in audit issues.
  • Drive remediation of vulnerabilities, focusing on server endpoints and network.
  • Review vulnerability scan results to identify security risks and report findings to stakeholders.
  • Respond to stakeholder requests and provide reports on remediation efforts, gaps, and obstacles.
About You

Required Skills:

  • Approximately 5 years' experience in information security.
  • Good communication skills, with ability to understand and translate cyber security threats to business understanding.
  • Well-developed analytic and critical thinking skills, with creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work independently and motivated to learn.
  • Broad technical background related to security technologies.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • CISSP or equivalent certification.
  • Strong analytic/problem solving/critical thinking skills.
  • Able to effectively communicate with Technical and Non-Technical business owners.
  • Deep understanding of risk-based security and Security by Design approaches.
