Cyber Security Strategist

Persolkelly is a government client seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to join their IT team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform scheduled vulnerability scans, remediation, and compliance testing to ensure Essential Eight Maturity Level requirements are met for patching software and hardware.
- Monitor, support and review authentication and access control, next-gen firewalls, endpoint protection and relevant cloud security solutions.
- Assist in developing corporate cyber security strategies and protocols, contributing to the continual improvement of performance of the City's Cyber Security systems and capability.
The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification in Information Technology and experience in cyber security management processes including network security, malware prevention, monitoring IT risks and security vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- A relevant qualification in Information Technology.
- Demonstratable experience and understanding in cyber security management processes including network security, malware prevention, monitoring IT risks and security vulnerabilities.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people and groups inside and outside the organisation.
