Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. As a Junior Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a key role in helping us protect our information systems from cyber threats.

About the Role:

This 12-month contract role has the potential to go permanent and is an excellent opportunity for entry-level IT professionals looking to start or advance their career in cyber security.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing specifications and projects to assess security risks and identifying areas of improvement
  • Reviewing the effectiveness of information security controls and reporting actionable recommendations
  • Assisting with the technical incident response for cyber security events and incidents
  • Coordinating business unit response and remediation efforts
  • Investigating cyber security incidents and delivering information security awareness programs

Requirements:

  • Degree in Cyber Security, Bachelor or Masters level
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and frameworks including NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI DSS
  • Interest in information security and data integrity
  • Understanding of global Cyber Security trends, attack vectors, and techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
