Lead Resident Care Specialist

We are seeking a Lead Resident Care Specialist to join our team and provide exceptional care for our residents.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a unique and career-defining new role as a Lead Resident Care Specialist, where you will have a dedicated focus on leading and providing person-centred care for our residents.

You will work across a group of residents and their families to ensure they experience exceptional resident care. As a Lead Resident Care Specialist, you will be an important member of our Home Leadership team, playing a vital role in delivering the best care to our residents.

The Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining a schedule of check-ins to ensure all residents' needs are met.
  • Understanding each resident as an individual with unique needs and encouraging regular feedback.
  • Proactively problem solving and attending to gaps in resident needs through collaboration and teamwork.
  • Communicating and working with the care team to ensure consistent and high-quality resident care and support.
  • Demonstrating our values-in-practice to foster a culture of kindness, curiosity and great care.
  • Building strong relationships by communicating effectively with residents, families and staff team members.
Requirements:
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of care practices.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements.
  • Good systems knowledge and IT skills.
  • All mandatory learning up to date.
  • Team coordination or coaching skills (desirable).
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent (required).
