The role of Global Conflicts Analyst is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of conflict resolution within a global organization.

This position requires a highly analytical individual who can effectively review, identify, and resolve potential conflicts issues with respect to clients, matters, and new business under applicable rules of professional responsibility and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the team to process conflict checking for new clients and matters across various jurisdictions
  • Provide thorough and timely analysis of all new business endeavors to identify any ethical and business conflicts of interest
  • Support and resolve general conflict issues and cross-regional conflicts, maintaining accurate records to ensure database integrity
  • Utilize internal and external databases to supplement analysis and assist with decision making
  • Work closely with the team to evaluate and implement improvements to enhance operations
  • Communicate complex conflicts questions and other compliance issues to department leadership
  • Contribute to training team members in understanding firm's new matter intake and compliance procedures

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in conflicts or a related field (such as AML, KYC, or compliance), preferably in an international setting
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in law or a related field
  • Business-level proficiency in English, both written and oral
  • Familiarity with conflict checking, ethical wall, and business intake software is beneficial
  • Strong legal research skills
  • Extensive experience working with multiple stakeholders and approvals
