Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineering Technician, you will play a vital role in the design and implementation of cleaning equipment and machinery. You will be responsible for preparing designs and layouts, selecting and recommending tools and machines, overseeing assembly and installation, and coordinating upgrades and modifications.

Additionally, you will conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments, organize inspections and perform diagnostic tests, supervise field and lab tests, estimate costs and material quantities, collect and analyze performance data, and lead repair and maintenance teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant technical qualification - Diploma or higher.
  • At least 2 years of similar relevant experience in optimizing mechanical systems.
  • Good knowledge of occupational health and safety (WHS) and environmental regulations.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in handling clients and external stakeholders.
