Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Strategy Expert to champion our portfolio of commercial vehicles. You will be responsible for driving product strategy and ensuring the right mix of products is sourced, delivered, and marketed in the Australian marketplace.

This role reports to the Head of Product and Marketing for Commercial Vehicles and will involve working with the marketing team to develop and execute strategic plans for communication of our product portfolio.

  • Monitor market and product positioning
  • Manage and negotiate product range, positioning, specifications, and pricing
  • Develop and assist manage product-related systems and pricing
  • Work with the marketing team to deliver appropriate advertising and brand communications
  • Other duties relating to this role that are not limited to internal/external stakeholder management, reporting, product presentations, and event support
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive industry (market and technical)
  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance is preferred
  • Strong communication skills across various audiences
  • Knowledge of regulatory environments for vehicle registration and specification as well as advertising and communications
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Practical problem-solving skills with an operational focus
  • Training program development and delivery
  • High attention to detail and time management skills
  • Project management
