Product Strategy Associate

Responsibilities Conduct Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Perform deep-dive research into the online payments and loan sectors, analyzing market trends, customer needs, competitive offerings, regulatory environments, and technology landscapes across target markets.
Identify Strategic Opportunities: Assess product gaps, emerging business opportunities, and customer pain points to identify where KPay can add unique value to the online payment and lending space.
Develop Product Strategy & Roadmap: Translate research insights into actionable product strategies.
Define clear product roadmaps, timelines, and milestones aligned with business goals and market opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, design, sales, and compliance teams to align product vision and ensure seamless execution from idea to launch.
Validate with Stakeholders & Customers: Conduct user interviews, focus groups, and internal workshops to test hypotheses, validate demand, and refine feature sets and positioning.
Monitor Performance & Market Feedback: Develop KPIs to measure success post-launch.
Continuously gather feedback, track performance, and iterate on product features to improve adoption and user satisfaction.
Support Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to define the GTM approach, including value propositions, messaging, pricing strategy, and training materials.
Regulatory & Compliance Awareness: Stay up to date on relevant regulations for online payments and lending, ensuring that proposed product strategies are compliant and viable in each market.
Execution & Delivery Ownership: Take ownership of key initiatives and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of roadmap items, working in an agile environment with iterative releases.
Key Requirements 1–3 years of experience in strategy, product management, consulting, fintech, or a related analytical role, preferably in online payments or lending.
Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize large volumes of market, competitor, and customer data into clear, actionable insights.
Experience in developing product strategies or roadmaps, especially in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Familiarity with the online payment ecosystem (gateways, wallets, cards, APIs, etc.) and/or loan products (BNPL, SME lending, credit underwriting, etc.) is a strong plus.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present findings, make strategic recommendations, and influence stakeholders across all levels.
Business and customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to translate business needs and customer pain points into scalable product ideas.
Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of owning initiatives from concept to execution.
Comfort working cross-functionally with product, tech, compliance, and sales teams to align priorities and drive outcomes.
Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations in fintech, especially in payments and lending, is advantageous.
Self-starter with high ownership, comfortable working in ambiguous environments and driving clarity and results.
