Job Overview

This role will support Kellogg Brown & Root (KBR) Government Solutions in their joint department of defense program in Alice Springs, Australia. As a Medical Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests, operating medical equipment, and ensuring accurate results for patient care. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide essential support in diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Emergency Response: Provides first aid, emergency medical services, health examinations, or nursing services to employees.
  • Communication: Interacts with injury management, workers compensation, and outside compensation providers.
  • Health Education: Gives information to employees in health education and illness prevention.
  • Record Keeping: Prepares, maintains, records, accident reports, and statistical data associated with incidents, health history, and injuries occurring at worksite.
  • Supply Management: Maintains inventory of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) equipment and first aid supplies.
  • Testing and Screening: Assists in performing drug and alcohol testing at worksite.
  • Worksite Safety: Oversees other health issues such as drinking water, food preparations, and safety of living areas.
  • Compliance: Performs duties by following established procedures.
Requirements
  • Certification: Relevant Australian Medical Technician certification or license.
  • Experience: Minimum five (5) years' experience as a Medical Technician.
  • CPR Certification: Maintain current CPR certification.
