Established as a leader in the carpet manufacturing industry, this esteemed organisation boasts over 60 years of experience. From humble beginnings, it has evolved into a recognised national and international force.

The position has become available due to an internal promotion. We are seeking an accomplished Production Manager to oversee our operations in Lonsdale.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct daily production processes to achieve targets while maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture by leading root cause investigations on incidents.
  • Develop and regularly audit departmental Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Build and manage a high-performing team, fostering accountability, engagement, and collaboration.
  • Oversee costs related to production consumables, energy consumption, labour overtime, etc.
  • Assist in the development of production budgets and monitor expenses against targets.
  • Drive the implementation of Continuous Improvement methodologies throughout the production process.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
  • Support organisational commitment to quality and environmental standards.
  • Ensure aligned headcount and trained shift resources with company capacity plans.
