
Multidisciplinary Care Provider

The Behavioral Health Associate is an integral member of a multidisciplinary treatment team in a behavioral health setting. They monitor and report on patient behaviors, provide continuous care and document observations and patient activity as needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor patient behavior and report significant observations to the healthcare team
- Provide ongoing patient care and maintain accurate documentation of patient activity
- Respond to crisis situations and medical emergencies with caution and professionalism
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and perform basic mathematical calculations
- Previous experience working directly with patients in a behavioral health or medical environment is highly desirable
- Successful candidates will be required to obtain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within one year of employment and maintain it thereafter
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS-C) must also be obtained during initial training periods and maintained thereafter
This role is situated in a hospital setting and requires strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations is essential.
