Secure IT Operations Lead

As a seasoned security professional, you will oversee the review of security governance, processes, policies, and management as part of a major systems implementation. You will ensure that IT operations comply with regulatory bodies' requirements by developing and delivering a comprehensive information security mechanism. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing ongoing risk assessments and risk control programs for IT operations.
  • Monitoring system activities and detecting risks to develop an incident reporting and response program.
  • Investigating security events to determine malfunctions, breaches, and remediation steps.
  • Preparing status reports on security matters and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve objectives.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on cybersecurity incident response and managing security operational matters.

Skill Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have expertise in information security, cybersecurity incident response, or equivalent. A good understanding of information security best practice standards and guidelines (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO27000 series standards) is essential, along with experience in information security incident analysis, triage, and response techniques. Familiarity with technologies used to respond to threats, such as SIEM/log management tools, endpoint and network security management tools, is also required.
