Lead Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in protecting our information systems by identifying, analysing and mitigating security threats.

The ideal candidate will have postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience in cybersecurity analysis, strategic thinking and problem solving in a large complex organisation. They will also have hands-on experience in proactive threat hunting, with knowledge of advanced analysis techniques to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies to protect against potential threats.
  • Lead the analysis of security incidents to determine root cause and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to assess risk levels and prioritise remediation efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field such as computer science or information technology.
  • Extensive experience in cybersecurity analysis, strategic thinking and problem solving in a large complex organisation.
  • Hands-on experience in proactive threat hunting, with knowledge of advanced analysis techniques to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
