About the RoleAs a Post-Doctoral Research Associate, you will be responsible for conducting research in the field of electrochemical engineering and corrosion, with a focus on alkaline water electrolysis.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in electrochemical engineering and corrosion, with a focus on alkaline water electrolysis
- Develop and implement new techniques and methods for improving the efficiency and durability of alkaline electrolysis cells
- Collaborate with industry partners to develop and commercialize new technologies
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and reports
- Supervise and train postgraduate and undergraduate students
- PhD in a relevant field such as Engineering, Materials Science, Electrochemistry, or a related field
- Track record of successful academic and/or industrial research, preferably in alkaline water electrolysis or a related field
- Demonstrated capacity to undertake collaborative research in a multi-disciplinary team
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills in English
- Well-developed organisational skills with an ability to meet strict deadlines
- Demonstrated knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and procedures
- A competitive salary of Australian Dollars $103,998 - $109,033 per annum, plus 17% superannuation
- A fixed term of 3 years full-time, with a possibility of extension
- A dynamic and collaborative research environment
- The opportunity to work with industry partners to develop and commercialize new technologies
