About the Role

This role entails developing precise cost estimates, budgets, and procurement strategies for complex projects within high-security environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute comprehensive MEP cost models that factor in project risks.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of design documentation and specifications to ensure accuracy in financial forecasting.
  • Manage tender processes, assess contractor pricing, and negotiate optimal contracts.
  • Provide value engineering insights to identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising project quality.
  • Compile detailed financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and risk assessments for stakeholder review.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align project objectives and goals.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of industry benchmarks and market trends.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in consultancy environments, preferably with exposure to data centre or mission-critical projects.
  • Proficiency in cost management software such as CostX or Candy.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage project risks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear, client-focused advice.
