
Strategic Acquisitions Designer

The Acquisition Design Chapter Lead is a key role in shaping and executing the design strategy for customer acquisition experiences. This includes everything from the website and onboarding processes to campaign landing pages and conversion funnels.
This leader will play a hands-on role in mentoring and managing performance of a team of designers, collaborating closely with teams across product, engineering, marketing, and brand to create intuitive, high-performing experiences that boost customer engagement and drive growth.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of UX/UI design experience, including leadership in acquisition or growth-focused teams, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, expertise in responsive web design, prototyping, and design systems, and ability to lead projects in an agile environment and deliver to timelines.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end design of acquisition journeys, from discovery to delivery.
- Mentor and manage performance of a team of designers to support capability development and career progression.
- Collaborate with product managers and marketers to define goals, scope work, and measure impact.
- Use data, research, and experimentation to inform design decisions and optimise conversion.
- Lead the development of design capability, including continuous improvement of people, methodologies, tools and processes.
- Partner with Brand to ensure visual consistency and creative excellence across acquisition touchpoints.
- Manage stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing.
- Demonstrate hands-on leadership by actively contributing to design work and leading by example.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 6+ years of UX/UI design experience, including leadership in acquisition or growth-focused teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in responsive web design, prototyping, and design systems.
- Experience using customer research, usability testing, and analytics to drive design.
- Ability to lead projects in an agile environment and deliver to timelines.
- Familiarity with financial services or regulated environments is a plus.
