Career Opportunity: Apprentice Mechanic

We are seeking a hands-on individual to join our team as an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter. This four-year program provides comprehensive training and guidance from experienced tradespeople, equipping you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in your role.
About the RoleIn this position, you will be responsible for supporting the reliability and safety of our Fixed Plant operations by learning to maintain and troubleshoot equipment such as crushers, conveyors, and pumps.
- Maintaining and repairing complex mechanical systems.
- Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions.
- Contributing to preventative maintenance activities.
- Ensuring workshop housekeeping and safety standards are met.
- Pursuing formal training requirements through TAFE.
- Embodying Evolution Mining's values and promoting a culture of excellence and respect.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A strong commitment to safety and a genuine interest in mechanical systems.
- A completed or near-completed Year 12 education.
- A current driver's licence.
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment.
