The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Development Kitchen tester to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will utilize your expertise to assess kitchen equipment, interpret performance data, and provide recommendations to the Development Kitchen Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Executing comprehensive quality assurance testing on different products
- Preparing detailed reports on test outcomes
- Conducting research on products, food, and recipes
- Sharing culinary knowledge with team members
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Australian Company Number (ACN)
- An accredited culinary or food science degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Minimum of 2 years of professional cooking or food media experience
- Experience in cooking for a diverse food audience
- Familiarity with electrical kitchen appliances
- Previous experience in recipe development and/or product testing
- Ability to meet physical requirements: standing up to 5 hours at a time and lifting up to 15 kilograms consistently
