Directorate Liaison Officer Role

The Chief Minister's Office seeks a highly motivated senior officer to perform the duties of Directorate Liaison Officer.

As a key member of the team, you will facilitate and support direct communications and policy advice between the office and ministers' offices. You will provide specialist assistance in matters relating to Cabinet, the Legislative Assembly, constituent meetings and functions.

This position reports through Cabinet, Assembly and Government Business in Policy and Cabinet however services multiple areas of our organization primarily the Industrial Relations and Workforce Strategy unit including Digital, Data and Technology Solutions and Worksafe ACT.

To be successful in this role, it is expected that you can demonstrate a high-level ability to provide strategic policy direction and advice and possess strong leadership and management skills and sound judgement.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic policy direction and advice

Requirements:

Applicants should have a proven track record in providing strategic policy direction and advice, as well as possessing strong leadership and management skills and sound judgement.
