Leading Care Team Member

Manage a dedicated team of Carers to deliver high-quality care in a new cottage respite home. This is a full-time position, where you will be responsible for the management and direct care of clients' individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a passionate and dedicated team of staff to deliver exceptional care with our Overnight Respite Cottage service.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead staff; ensure quality; and oversee all technical aspects of care provision at the Respite Cottage.
  • Provide professional leadership for your team to deliver personalized care to our clients.
  • Work collaboratively with other leaders to achieve common goals.
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Aged Care and a minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build supportive relationships with clients within a relationship-based model of care.
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth Home Support Program Manual, Home Care Packages Program Guidelines, and related policies.
  • Experience managing a team of skilled professionals in a multi-site environment.
  • A current driver's license and willingness to travel between different locations.
  • Strong administrative and computer skills.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a genuine interest in helping those in need.
