Assist the Merchandise Planner in achieving sales, gross profit and inventory productivity goals by supporting core line management, allocation, inventory control and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building and producing reports.
  • Conducting analysis and making recommendations.
  • Core Line forecasting and purchase planning.
  • Managing inter-store transfers (consolidations).
  • Supporting the allocation process through guiding and coaching the Allocator.
  • Markdown modelling.
  • Managing the inventory outcomes of new store openings.

Requirements for Success
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to understand data and analytics and make recommendations as a result.
  • Product forecasting experience.
  • Proven ability to manage inventory through prior analytical/commercial role with a good understanding of merchandise inventory basics.
  • Ability to take a proactive approach and think strategically.
  • Advanced excel skills with the ability to champion excel-based projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
