"As part of our Global Marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading PR and stakeholder engagement efforts that resonate with our audience and amplify InDebted's challenger brand narrative. Based in Sydney, you will craft and execute multinational communications strategies, drive earned media initiatives, and build relationships with key journalists across our operational markets.

"Your role will involve collaborating closely with our London VP and US teams, embracing a flexible approach to time zones. You will advise executives, prepare impactful speaking briefs, and establish strategic partnerships with relevant non-profits. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to showcase our customer-centric values through awards, events, and targeted initiatives.

About You
  • 3-5 years of experience in Public Relations, Brand and Communications, either in-house or agency within a startup or fintech environment
  • A track record of identifying, building, and delivering brand and communications initiatives that drive business impact
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills, with the ability to translate complex messages into engaging, impactful narratives
  • Strong media relationships with top-tier AU journalists in technology/business media outlets, with the ability to build new ones in other regions
  • Multinational media exposure is highly beneficial, particularly within UK & US markets
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end communications planning for high-profile announcements, plus exposure to issues management or sensitive topics
  • Strong brand and design intelligence, with the ability to give visual communication direction and proficiency in tools such as Canva and Figma
