Job Title: Healthcare Support Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Assistant to join our Physiotherapy team at Golf Links Road.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and compassionate professional to provide assessment and intervention services to patients requiring physiotherapy care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering patient-centred care within a defined scope of practice, working collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure efficient and safe patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and intervention services to patients requiring physiotherapy care

  • Perform administrative and support functions within the physiotherapy department
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)

- Clinical experience working in an inpatient setting with physiotherapy teams

- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

- Demonstrated competence with IT systems and administrative processes

- Ability to be flexible and adaptable day-to-day in taking on a range of tasks within your scope of practice
