Job Title: Healthcare Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service skills and ability to remain calm and helpful in a challenging or changing environment.
  • Work efficiently with computer systems, including knowledge of administration systems.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and take a proactive approach to duties.

About the Role:

This role involves working as the first point of contact for patients and visitors both over the phone and face to face, working closely alongside nursing, medical and allied health staff.

The successful candidate will work out of ward 3A Forest at Monash Children's Hospital one day a week, every Saturday morning (7am-3.30pm).

As an integral member of our cohesive team, you will be required to communicate effectively with staff and take a proactive approach to your duties.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working as a Ward Clerk is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm, compassion & the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health team.
