Healthcare Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and professional Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare services, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and service.
The ideal candidate will have sound administrative experience, preferably in a hospital environment. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based setting. A personable and customer-focused approach is essential, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
This is a permanent full-time position, working 80 hours per fortnight (2.0 EFT). Located at the Alfred, this role offers great staff benefits, including five weeks annual leave, additional days off, and salary packaging.
About the Role:
- To provide effective and efficient administrative support to our healthcare services.
- To ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and service.
- To work collaboratively with the administration team to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative tasks, including reception, patient enquiries, clinic preparation, electronic appointment scheduling, referral management, telephone support and data entry.
- To maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to confidentiality and privacy legislation.
- Ability to plan workflow, prioritise and delegate to meet deadlines.
