We are seeking a seasoned legal administrator to join our client’s dynamic team as Senior Legal Bookkeeper/Office Manager. This unique opportunity combines the roles of bookkeeping and office management, offering a diverse and engaging work environment.

Our client is a reputable plaintiff personal injury law firm with an impressive 30-year history of success. They pride themselves on their inclusive, collaborative culture and inspiring leadership.

This key role will involve a mix of accounting and administrative responsibilities, including:

  • Managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger reporting, trust accounting, cash flows, PAYG, BAS, GST, credit card transactions, and petty cash audits;
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate and legal requirements, such as ASIC renewals, insurance, and practising certificates;
  • Providing support with recruitment, HR, and staff management;
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for IT professionals, building managers, and branch offices in Sydney and Queensland.

This permanent position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000-$130,000, based on experience. Our client values long-term commitment and stability, offering a refreshing and supportive work environment.

If you have a diploma or degree in accounting/bookkeeping, a minimum of 5-20 years of hands-on experience as a bookkeeper/accountant, and some office administration experience, we encourage you to apply.

You should possess strong numeracy skills, accuracy, and attention to detail, be efficient, deadline-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
