Job Description:

The Supreme Court of Victoria is seeking a Technical Support Lead to assist the eCourts and Infrastructure teams in developing and supporting technology solutions and services based on the needs of the Supreme Court.

This role will focus on ensuring the highest level of operability for the eCourts environment, including supporting hardware and software.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Use theoretical knowledge to achieve agreed outcomes in moderately complex work situations to assist the eCourts environment meet its operational objectives.
  • Provide high quality customer service as well as innovative solution-focused thinking and contribute to the technical development of IT eCourts requests/incidents/problems and change requests.
  • Implement the eCourts Digital Strategy to deliver systematic and continuous improvements to its operating environment, in line with the strategic plan.
  • Initiate and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with broader strategic directions and satisfy the Court's strategic drivers.
  • Assist Team Leaders to enhance business practices in the eCourts environment by developing and maintaining up-to-date knowledge base of current ITIL work practices and emerging technical trends and strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Day to day functions and running of eCourts - including software, hardware, vendor management, planning and implementing complex changes. This role also requires taking the lead in project planning and implementation.
  • Provide support for circuit court, travelling to regional courts within Victoria to provide support to judicial officers and associates when carrying out court proceedings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Relevant Azure and Cisco certification or equivalent IT experience.

Driver's license is required.

Experience supporting Cisco networking and video collaboration technology is essential.

Proven track record of delivering IT services in BAU, Infrastructure and change management environments.

Experienced in service management and Incident management based on best practice ITIL methodologies.
