A great opportunity to make a significant impact in the technology category management structure of a leading Australian retailer. As a Technology Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and customer satisfaction through cutting-edge technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand technology needs and requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and technology solutions.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for technology products and services.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favourable terms and conditions.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
Requirements:
- Proven procurement experience with strong exposure to ICT or technology.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
