Job Overview

The Security Specialist will play a pivotal role in safeguarding an organization's digital assets. Their primary responsibilities include managing and supporting web application firewalls, fine-tuning policies to mitigate emerging threats, and implementing robust security measures to prevent data breaches.

Key aspects of the job include administering and maintaining risk management systems, such as RSA Archer for compliance reporting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

In this role, the Security Specialist will also be responsible for deploying, managing, and monitoring database firewalls for real-time activity and anomaly detection. They will utilize advanced threat detection tools, like RSA NetWitness, to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop effective mitigation strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with leading cybersecurity tools, including Imperva WAF, RSA Archer, and Cisco FMC. A strong understanding of network protocols, secure architectures, and web application threats is essential for success in this position.

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or security engineering roles.

• Proficiency in at least three of the following tools:

o Imperva WAF

o RSA Archer

o RSA NetWitness

o Database Firewall (e.g., Imperva DBF)

• Experience with:

o Cisco FMC and Cisco ISE

o Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions

o ServiceNow, especially handling problem tickets and SLA tracking

o Vulnerability scanning tools and remediation processes

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
