Job Title: Fundraising Liaison

The Development & Alumni Relations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the planning and implementation of initiatives for fundraising and donations. The key responsibilities include managing relationships with existing donors, coordinating events and initiatives, drafting publications, liaising with donors, and contributing to impact reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing donors to maximise opportunities for new donor relationships
  • Coordinate various events and initiatives, including Annual Giving Program, donor stewardship program, fundraising activities, Principal's briefings, alumni reunions and panel discussions
  • Draft publications and create content for appeals that resonate with donors
  • Collaborate with donors to prepare donor acknowledgements and receipts
  • Contribute to Impact of Giving reports by providing data-driven insights
  • Identify philanthropic opportunities that align with the school's goals
  • Work closely with internal departments to deliver high standard communications and events
  • Update and maintain the school's CRM system to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Fundraising, Marketing or Communications
  • Several years' experience working within an established fundraising team or not-for-profit environment
  • Excellent stakeholder development and relationship management skills
  • Experience working with CRM systems

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work some weekends and evenings at various events throughout the school year
  • Ability to acquire a Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
