The role

The Digital Fundraising Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and optimising digital campaigns to acquire, retain, and grow supporters and donors across digital channels.

This role drives income generation through targeted online fundraising initiatives, including social media advertising, email marketing, digital lead generation, and website optimisation. Working collaboratively across fundraising, marketing, and data teams, the Digital Fundraising Specialist ensures an integrated supporter experience, leveraging data and analytics to deliver engaging, insight-led digital campaigns that meet income and engagement targets.

This is a permanent full time role and is based at our corporate offices in South Brisbane.

Key criteria

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing and/or communications or equivalent level of experience
  • 3+ years' experience in digital marketing, fundraising, or social media campaign management
  • Demonstrated ability to build and optimise paid social campaigns for performance (acquisition and conversion)
  • Strong understanding of key digital metrics and platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Google Ads, UTM tracking)
  • Experience in creating or briefing compelling digital fundraising content and journeys
Desirable
  • Experience in a nonprofit, charity, or social impact organisation
  • Familiarity with digital fundraising platforms (e.g. Funraisin, Raisely, Marketing Cloud, Campaign Monitor)
  • Understanding of donor/supporter behaviours in a mass fundraising context
  • Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certifications
