Senior Data Insights Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Insights Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy that enhances risk management and compliance capabilities across the organization.

You will establish and maintain a robust data governance framework, ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance with relevant data protection regulations. Additionally, you will collect, analyze, and interpret risk and compliance data, providing actionable insights to support decision-making and enhance organizational performance.

The successful candidate will have strong understanding of data analytics, business intelligence practices, and data protection regulations. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives and boards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement a data-driven strategy to enhance risk management and compliance capabilities
  • Develop and maintain a robust data governance framework
  • Analyze and interpret risk and compliance data to inform decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to improve risk identification and compliance monitoring
Requirements:
  • Qualifications:
  • University-level qualifications in information technology, data science, computer science, business administration, or equivalent
  • Experience:
  • Experience in governance, regulatory compliance, or legal areas, particularly within a regulated financial services environment in Australia, New Zealand, or the United Kingdom
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, business intelligence practices, and data protection regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
