Job Title:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Coordinator to lead our Hazmat team. This role offers a unique blend of leadership responsibilities and hands-on site work.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate various projects to maximise output and meet client needs.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and deliver exceptional service.
  • Conduct fieldwork including asbestos surveys and monitoring (approx. 50% of time).
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in all reporting.
  • Manage a team of hazmat technicians and assessors, fostering a productive team environment.
  • Monitor financial targets and ensure effective use of resources.
  • Utilise laboratory services for fibre counting only.
  • Require extensive experience in asbestos and hazmat (Licenced Asbestos Assessor or 5+ years' experience with a pending application).
  • Strong knowledge of current WHS legislation and industry standards is essential.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with effective decision-making.
  • Experience with NATA fibre counting and laboratory procedures is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of occupational hygiene is advantageous.
  • Able to identify business opportunities and contribute to growth.
