Hazmat Operations Manager

This role offers a unique blend of leadership and technical expertise, with the ideal candidate possessing strong organizational skills and experience in asbestos and hazmat management.
The successful applicant will coordinate various projects to maximize output and meet client needs, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
In the field, they will conduct surveys and monitoring, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance in all reporting. They will also manage a team of technicians and Licensed Asbestos Assessors, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate multiple projects to achieve maximum output and meet client requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to deliver exceptional service.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to monitor and report on asbestos levels.
- Manage a team of technicians and assessors to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong working knowledge of current WHS legislation and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and exceed expectations.
