Senior ITS Engineer Position

The role of a Senior Systems ITS Engineer is a pivotal position within our Intelligent Transport Systems team. We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee projects from inception to completion, delivering engineering solutions that meet project requirements within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop ITS solutions, including product selection and procurement, cabinet design and procurement, review project-wide ITS designs, manage design interfaces and provide input to constructability of ITS designs.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the VIC ITS Engineering team.
  • Design and deliver technical solutions aligned with project scope and requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and escalate critical issues as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to project plans and quality standards.
  • Foster strong customer relationships, supporting sales processes and proposing solutions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with electrical, electronic, or controls related disciplines on large infrastructure projects.
  • Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) project experience is highly valued.
  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
  • Australian driver's licence.
  • Must have the right to work in Australia.
