About the Role

The Department of Home Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Officer to join our IT Procurement Section. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for procuring IT hardware and software, as well as managing contracts for enterprise-wide software contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procure IT hardware and software in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
  • Manage contracts for enterprise-wide software contracts to ensure ongoing value for money
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Conduct financial management activities, including budgeting and financial reporting

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in procurement and contract management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to developing team capability
