Are you a seasoned program leader seeking to grow your career in trauma-informed and feminist practice?

We are recruiting for an experienced Program Manager – Mental Health and DFSV to lead a dynamic team delivering therapeutic programs, including counselling, case management, crisis intervention, and community programs.

About the Opportunity:

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the effectiveness and sustainability of trauma-informed services supporting women experiencing domestic and family violence, mental health challenges, and complex life circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic delivery of a diverse range of therapeutic services.
  • Provide clinical leadership, risk oversight, and service quality assurance.
  • Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
  • Drive DFSV and mental health program innovation and evidence-based practice.
  • Foster partnerships with community stakeholders to support holistic care.
  • Contribute to training and fee-for-service program development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Experience in program management and clinical leadership, within DFSV services.
  • Strong clinical skills, particularly in trauma, domestic/family violence, and mental health.
  • Deep understanding of feminist principles and gender-informed care.
  • Experience working with diverse communities and marginalised groups.
  • Excellent team leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Training in the Safe and Together Model.
  • Experience in a feminist or not-for-profit environment.
  • Fluency in a language other than English.
