Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and electrical assembly, with excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.

The primary focus of this role will be to provide high-quality service to customers, ensuring that their machines are performing optimally and resolving any issues promptly. This includes undertaking preventative maintenance tasks, such as pre-season and post-season servicing, and troubleshooting machine problems through to resolution.

The successful candidate will have a relevant university degree level qualification, 3+ years of experience in a similar role, and a working knowledge of PC and MS office suite. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read, analyse and interpret technical procedures and/or governmental regulations.


Your Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality service to customers, ensuring their machines are performing optimally.
  • Undertake preventative maintenance tasks, including pre-season and post-season servicing.
  • Troubleshoot machine problems through to resolution.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and/or research and development teams to improve work instructions and/or assist in the writing and editing of build as assembly and testing procedure documents.
  • Maintain close relationships with sales leadership by providing customer updates and advising on any potential sales opportunities or customer concerns for follow-up action.

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, presentable, and eager to work in a customer-facing role. Our Field Service Technicians are team players who think critically, take initiative, and demonstrate grit in getting things done. They work independently and as part of a team to ensure our solutions are delivered, installed, and maintained on an ongoing basis.


Your Qualifications
  • Relevant university degree level qualification such as Bachelor of Management / Engineering or Trade Certification.
  • 3+ years of experience as a field service technician or equivalent education.
  • Relevant knowledge of electronics/electrical assembly and wiring.
  • An understanding/knowledge of electronics and electrical assembly and wiring.
  • Working knowledge of PC and MS office suite.
  • Ability to read, analyse and interpret technical procedures and/or governmental regulations.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • A positive attitude with a strong customer service mindset.
