Job Opportunity: Diesel Mechanic

Established heavy vehicle diesel mechanics are sought to join a team at a prominent dealership in Australia. The successful candidate will work on premium truck brands and enjoy competitive pay and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel machinery, trucks, and trailers.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Order parts as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used via electronic systems.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members.

Requirements:

  • Relevant heavy vehicle trade certificate.
  • Demonstrated mechanical knowledge and skills.
  • Experience with Volvo, UD, Mack, and Hino trucks is desirable.
  • Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, overtime and callout roster may be required at times.
  • Committed to complying with all OH&S procedures.
