Legislative Policy Advisor

Embark on a challenging role as a Legislative Policy Advisor with our Commonwealth Government client in the Strategy, Policy and Legislation team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communications skills and experience in legislation development, regulation, and problem-solving. Previous experience in government settings is also desired.

Key responsibilities include working with the legal team to assess and mitigate risks associated with delegation, developing drafting instructions, and supporting the drafting and finalisation of legislative instruments.

A competitive salary of $95,000 to $115,000 per annum is offered for this full-time position located in the Canberra CBD. Flexible working arrangements are considered, and Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain Baseline security clearance is required.

This initial labour hire contract until 30th June 2025 may be extended by 12 months. As a contractor, you will enjoy a range of benefits and perks provided by relatbl, a business owned and managed by experienced contractors who understand the value of treating people well.
